Union Church of Los Angeles stands as a century-old pillar in the heart of Little Tokyo. Established in 1918 through the unification of three Japanese-speaking congregations, this Christ-centered, multi-ethnic community endured hardships such as WWII internment and served as a steadfast haven for Japanese Americans. Today, it continues to live its mission—“Love God and Bless the City”—through bilingual worship services, community outreach, and spiritual growth opportunities designed to embrace both its Japanese-American heritage and the broader, diverse Los Angeles community
